Humility Personified

" I saw the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up; and his train filled the temple."

Isaiah 6 vs 1

I find this verse to be such a magnificent and awesome description of our God that it's almost impossible to fathom or comprehend. 

Imagine for a second a God so majestic that his robes fill the temple. Now this isn't just about His robes, but even more so His presence - His aura - His glory. 

But the really amazing thing is that it is this same God who came down to earth to die for us. In other words He is so magnificent and majestic, and yet so humble and loving.

The reason our God wants us to be humble is because despite his awesomeness He is humility personified. 

He made us in His own image, so we are also designed to be loving and humble. 

Grace is Love - God's Unconditional Love for us.
