"For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight."
Ephesians 1 vs 4
For me, this is one of the most powerful and revealing sentences about who we are and what our constant standing before God is.
Bearing in mind that God is Omniscient - past, present, and future - it is of great relief and joy to know that He chose us to be holy and blameless in His sight long before our mistakes and failings; and therefore despite our mistakes and failings.
Note - He chose - not the other way round.
In other words it is all down to Him, and not us.
You are forever Holy and Blameless in God's sight.
Focus not on your mistakes and failings, but on how much He Loves and Cherishes you. For this is what will give you life, peace, and power from within to walk in the knowledge and manner of who you truly are in Christ Jesus; a righteous and beloved child of God.
