Meeting Your Targets



Having to Meet Targets is part and parcel of Sales and Business. Don't dread or fear targets. Embrace them.

Here are five essentials for consistently meeting your targets.

1. Strategy Execution
It's all very well having a well thought out strategy, but the real test is in the execution. If you believe in your strategy then it's important to implement it as much as possible to the letter - no matter what's going on around you.

2. Focus on Value Adding
Always focus on how you can Add Value. There's a huge difference in confidence levels between when you're approaching prospects because you need a sale, and when you're approaching them because you believe you can add value to their lives / business.

3. Referrals
The most powerful form of advertising is 'Word of Mouth'. Once you've made a Value Adding Sale, never be shy of asking the impressed and happy client to give you referrals.

4. Belief
It's important that you believe you have Value to Add; and that your target is attainable. This enables you to strive towards your target with great confidence.

5. Humility
Never be shy or too proud to ask colleagues for referrals, or help in areas where you're weak
