We Have Victory Through His Unconditional Love

"Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus. But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, "Lord, save me!"

Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. "You of little faith," he said, "why did you doubt?"

Matthew 14 vs 29 - 31

The above verses are relevant to all our Challenges, Problems, Difficulties, Bad Habits, and Addictions.  Jesus walking on the water signifies Victory. If Peter had kept his eyes on Jesus he would have been able to continue walking on water; thereby Continuously Walking in Victory through Jesus. But the moment the wind got stronger he began to doubt.

Why?

Because the moment things got difficult he took his eyes off Jesus' Victory and began to doubt in his own ability to keep going. When his eyes were on Jesus he was fine. But the moment he took his eyes off Jesus he began to sink.

These verses reflect the Truth that Jesus has already Completed All The Work for our Salvation, Peace, Joy, Success, Blessings, and Favour,  - no matter how terrible conditions around us may seem at times.

Remember - the bible says that God's love is 'Unfailing'. In other words His love for you, which is as huge as the distance from heaven to earth (that's immeasurable by the way), can never fail.

God's Unconditional Love Can Never Fail.

The moment you start to focus on what you must do(works) to earn Salvation, Peace, Joy, Blessings, and Favour, is the moment you start to sink - via Doubts, Worry, Anxiety, Guilt, and Condemnation.

Every Sin, Bad Habit, Challenge, Difficulty, Fear, and so many other negatives were nailed to Jesus on the cross - so that through His Mercy and Unfailing Love We Have Victory.

Let's keep our eyes on God's Unconditional and Unfailing love, and not on what we can or can't do.
